Un gruppo di ristoranti locali subisce un altro duro colpo: la loro prima sede, al 1800 di Michigan Avenue a Detroit, sta per chiudere, secondo un post su Facebook del proprietario Matthew Buskard.
Aperto nel 2015, il locale è diventato per un po’ un punto di riferimento per il brunch. Ma il concetto di brunch è stato messo a dura prova in diverse sedi, con recenti chiusure definitive a Wyandotte, Ypsilanti e Clinton Township.

What’s next for Bobcat Bonnie’s is our renewed focus on getting back to who we were, and what our goals were. Fixing some of the issues we see here in the restaurant, fixing some of the mistakes we made, and being able to get back to being the spot that you use to love. Having fun, serving food and community, and a renewed focus on taking care of our people is what we will be working on. Somehow as we grew we lost some of that magic and focus, and as this economy has proven, you got to be at your best because money is tight, and folks are looking for GREAT places to spend those few extra dollars.
La speranza è quella di “ricreare ciò che di bello c’era da Bobcat Bonnie’s” e “TUTTO il personale di Corktown” si trasferirà nel locale di Ferndale, tranne alcuni che “non hanno potuto unirsi a noi” e sono stati collocati in altri posti di lavoro nel quartiere.
